Wendell Butt, Jr.

 Wendell Butt, Jr., 92, of Manchester, died July 6, 2024 at the Courville at Manchester after a period of declining health.

 He was born in Concord on June 19, 1932 to Wendell and Katherine (Crabbe) Butt. He served in the U.S. Army for two years and lived in Manchester for many years.

 Wendell earned a bachelor’s degree from UNH and then worked as the head school counselor with the Concord School District for many years. He liked to attend the opera and theater and was very particular about yard work, trees and flowers.

 He was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Ronald Butt.

 Wendell is survived by a sister-in-law, Barbara Butt; a former neighbor and friend, Christina Valente and a former client and friend, A. Bruce Carri, CPA.

 Per Wendell’s wishes, there are no services.
