Sr. Agnes Marie, pm (Lorraine Cote)

Sister Agnes Marie, p.m. (Lorraine Cote) of the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary, died at the age of 98 on October 16, 2026 at the St. Joseph Residence in Manchester.

Born in Berlin, New Hampshire, on December 19, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Fortunat & Emalia (Lacasse) Cote. She professed her vows as a Sister of the Presentation of Mary on August 15, 1952.

Throughout her religious life, Sr. Agnes Marie served her community in food service ministry. She spent her time serving the Sisters in Rhode Island and New Hampshire. She always did with joy and a smile. She retired at St. Joseph Residence 15 years ago.

Survivors include nephews and extended relatives. She was also the dear friend of many and leaves a legacy of love to those whose lives she touched.

The wake will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2026 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:20 a.m. at the St. Joseph Residence at 495 Mammoth Rd., Manchester, NH; followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be held at Presentation of Mary Cemetery in Hudson, New Hampshire.
