Rosemarie (Luongo) Cipolla

Rosemarie (Luongo) Cipolla, age 88, recently of Manchester, NH, former long time resident of Everett, MA, passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2026 at Elliot Hospital following a period of declining health. She was the widow of Robert A. “Chip” Cipolla, with whom she shared 61 years of marriage prior to his passing on February 1, 2018.

She was born December 16, 1937 in Malden, MA to the late Carmen & Rose (Lauro) Luongo.

Prior to her retirement, she worked as a Tax Collector for the City of Everett for over 20 years.

Rose was very family oriented, and she very much enjoyed cooking for them. She also enjoyed music and going to casinos.

She is survived by her son, Robert A. Cipolla, Jr. and his wife, Christie, of Manchester, NH; daughter-in-law, Patricia Cipolla, of Attleboro, MA; four beloved grandchildren, Robert, III, Audrey, Michael and Ryan; two cherished great-granddaughters, Leila and Haley; two brothers, Ronnie Luongo of FL & ME, and Carmine Luongo, of Lynn, MA. She was the Mother of the late Michael A. Cipolla who passed in 2024.

SERVICES – A Time of Visitation will take place on Tuesday, July 28, 2026 from 4:00 until 6:00 pm at the Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm Street, Manchester, NH. A Prayer Service in the Funeral Home will conclude visitation at 6:00 pm. Burial Weds. July 29 at 11:30 am at Glenwood Cemetery, Washington Ave., Everett, MA.
