Roberta Ann (Flanders) Gendron, 91, of Bedford, NH died August 15, 2026 surrounded by her family.
Born in Manchester, NH on February 5, 1935, she was the daughter of Harry and Catherine (Cashion) Flanders.
Prior to retirement, she had worked as an administrative assistant at New England Financial for many years. Previously, she had worked in Manchester’s City Hall as well as at Monarch Life Insurance Company. She was a graduate of the 1953 West High School, Manchester NH.
A longtime communicant of St. Elizabeth Seton Church in Bedford, she was a member of the parish’s Ladies Guild, Blue Chip Women’s Club, the Herb Connection and sang in the church choir.
Roberta loved to read, listen to music, and was very interested in living a healthy lifestyle. She enjoyed car rides, time spent at the beach, and the joy of traveling by train with her husband.
She was predeceased by her 5 siblings and her husband, Lucien “John” Gendron in 2010.
Family members include her children, Mary Lou Rollins and husband Bill of New Boston and their children, Jason and William, Steven Gendron and wife Susan of Laconia and their children Bryan and Ashley, Fr. Michael Gendron of Auburn, NH, Kelli Wynn and husband Jim of Casco, ME and their children, Patrick, Jonathan and Amanda several; nieces, nephews and eight great grandchildren.
A calling hour will be held at St. Peter Church, Manchester Road, Auburn on Wednesday, August 19th from 9 to 10 am, followed by a Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated at 10 am. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford.
