In loving memory of Real Theroux, who passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Oct 17 at 2:22am, leaving a legacy of quiet faith, hard work, and devotion to his family.
Born in East Hereford, Quebec, Canada, on January 10, 1939, to Albert and Fidelia (Inkel) Theroux, Real later moved to the United States. There, he quietly built a meaningful life centered on his beliefs, his loved ones, and an honest day's labor.
As the longtime owner and operator of his own small construction company, Real spent his life working with his hands. He took great pride in doing honest work, helping to build up local communities one project at a time. More than the buildings he left behind, Real passed his strong work ethic, integrity, and simple desire to help others down to his children, who continue to follow his example in their own lives and careers.
Real was a man of deep, quiet faith and genuine kindness. He lived life to the fullest, always ready to lend a helping hand to a neighbor in need without looking for praise. He had a passion for nice cars, snowmobile racing, hunting and fishing. He will be remembered most for his warm smile, his infectious laugh, and his quick wit was the spirit he brought into every room.
Family was Real's greatest joy. The simple values he lived by—humility, patience, and generosity—will continue to guide his children and grandchildren for generations to come. While his family will deeply miss his steady, comforting presence, they are incredibly grateful for the many years and quiet memories they shared together.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Ginette (Salois) Theroux of Manchester; his children, Rene Theroux and his wife Suzanne of Litchfield, Sylvain Theroux and his wife Krysten of Manchester, and Brigitte Theroux of Goffstown; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind many siblings, nephews, nieces, cousins and extended family members.
