Auburn

Pamela “Pam” Meltzer, 83, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, August 3, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on March 10, 1943 in Northampton, Pennsylvania to the late Elmer and Evelyn (Barkley) Roth.

Pam met Karl Meltzer while attending Whitehall High School, where they became tenth-grade sweethearts. They started their lives in Whitehall Township near Allentown, PA in 1961. In 1971, Pam and Karl, along with their two children, made their home in New Hampshire, where it became the heart of their family’s life, a place filled with warmth, comfort, laughter, and what always seemed to be a never-ending list of home improvement projects.

Together they shared more than six decades of marriage, building a life defined by hard work, devotion, and family. Throughout her career, Pam worked in retail, banking, and real estate. Her years in retail suited her love of shopping and her enjoyment of visiting her favorite stores. Over a dedicated 25-year career in real estate, Pam guided countless individuals and families, serving her community with warmth, integrity, and care.

Pam was a woman of strength, conviction, and unwavering support for those she loved. She was known for her honesty, determination, and the pride she took in watching her family grow and succeed. She cherished time spent with family and found the greatest joy in life’s simple moments together.

Pam is survived by her beloved husband, Karl Meltzer; a brother, Timothy Roth of Orefield, PA: her children, Kris Stone and Karl Meltzer Jr. and his wife Cheryl; her grandchildren, Taylor Ward and her husband Ryan and Shannon Stone; her great-granddaughters, Hannah and Mackenzie Ward; along with extended family and many dear friends.
