The lord has called Nan Margelot for her service to others one last time. This time in heaven. On Saturday August 1 Nan answered his call.
She came into this world on August 16, 1943 and departed August 1, 2026.
Nan was adopted by Malcom and Lillian Fuller Latourelle of Portsmouth, NH in 1943.
She went to Portsmouth High School and graduated from Exeter Hospital as an LPN. In 1961 she worked at Elliot Hospital in Manchester NH. In 1986 Nan completed her RN degree at Manchester Community College. Nan worked in the Emergency Department from 1967 through 1998. She then went on to work for 15 years at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Nashua and Merrimack until her retirement.
Nan was predeceased by her husband Charles Margelot and is survived by her daughter Cheryl Denis and her husband Marc Denis of Summerville SC, Brian Bovynof Goffstown, her grandsons Alex Denis of Goffstown and Brendan Denis of Rochester.
Nan also leaves behind her beloved pups “Missey” and “Sonny” whom she adored.
Nan was a member of the Hillside Methodist Church in Goffstown.
At Nan’s request there will be no calling hours. There will be a small gathering for family and close friends at the convenience of the family.
Donations may be made to Friends of Manchester Animal Shelter or the food pantry at the United Methodist Church on Valley St. in Manchester in lieu of flowers if so desired.
