Monique (Laurendeau) Beaudoin, 88, of Manchester, NH passed away peacefully on October 14, 2026 surrounded by the love and presence of her family.
She was the beloved wife of Normand Beaudoin, with whom she shared 66 wonderful years of marriage, building a life filled with love, faith, dedication, and cherished memories.
Born on August 19, 1938, in Courcelles, Quebec, Monique was the daughter of the late Philibert and Marie-Marthe (Belanger) Laurendeau. She grew up in a close-knit family and was the third of nine children.
Throughout her life, Monique was a woman of remarkable dedication, generosity and quiet strength. She worked tirelessly alongside her husband, Norm, supporting him in the operation of his home construction business, N.R. Construction. Her hard work, attention to detail, and unwavering commitment contributed greatly to their life together.
A woman of deep Catholic faith, Monique was a devoted parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Church in Manchester. Her faith was reflected not only in her religious devotion but also in the kindness, generosity, and loving care she extended to others throughout her life.
Monique had a special gift for making people feel welcome. She loved opening her home to family and friends, sharing delicious home-cooked meals, warm conversations, and joyful gatherings. An excellent cook and gracious hostess, she took great pleasure in bringing people together and creating lasting memories around her table.
She and Normand enjoyed spending many winters in Florida, where they shared wonderful times together. During the warmer months, Monique could often be found tending to her vegetable and flower gardens in New Hampshire, which she cultivated with great pride and care. She loved nature, camping, and the simple pleasures of being outdoors.
Monique was also known for her remarkable energy, her meticulous attention to detail, and her extraordinary ability to keep everything spotless and beautifully organized. Those who knew her will fondly remember her as a true master of housekeeping, always taking pride in a welcoming and well-kept home.
Above all, Monique will be remembered for her generous heart. She was always ready to lend a helping hand, especially to those in need. Kind, thoughtful, and respectful of everyone she encountered, she touched many lives through countless gestures of love and service. Her family and friends will forever treasure the precious memories, laughter, and special moments they shared with her.
In addition to her beloved husband, Normand, Monique is survived by her siblings: Brigitte (Raymond Lacroix), Vianney (Rita Laurendeau), Marc-Andre (the late Victoire Laurendeau), Jacques (Lucille Laurendeau), Ginette (the late Raynald Dubord), Viviane (Andre Couture), and Michel (Colette Laurendeau). She also leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and her three cherished Godchildren: Normande Beaudoin, Sylvia Therrien, and Eric Carrier.
She was predeceased by her brother, Jean-Marie Laurendeau.
Monique’s life was a beautiful testimony to the enduring values of faith, family, hard work, and generosity. Though she will be deeply missed, the love she shared and the example she set will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
May she rest in the peace and eternal love of the Lord.
