Lorraine L. (Leclerc) Bissonnette, age 84, a lifelong resident of Manchester, recently of Goffstown, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Friday, August 14, 2026 in Manchester following a period of declining health. She was the widow of Robert L. Bissonnette who passed away in July 2018.
She was born July 7, 1942, in Manchester, NH to the late Armand & Irene (DeBlois) Bissonnette.
Lorraine was a dedicated mom & homemaker for many years, her family was her whole life and world. Everything revolved around her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; she was their nurturer, babysitter and playmate. She also enjoyed family vacations & get-togethers, especially cooking for the family on Saturdays.
Lorraine entered the workforce when her children were almost grownups. Prior to her retirement in 2008, she worked as a claims processor for Acadia Insurance for over 10 years.
Lorraine is survived by her three daughters and sons-in-law, Monique Lycett (Philip), of Laconia, Pauline Jones (Joseph), of Goffstown, Diane Johnston (Daniel), of Hooksett; her three sons and two daughters-in-law, Marc Bissonnette (Crystal), of Goffstown, David Bissonnette, of Goffstown, Paul Bissonnette (Tara), of Manchester; eight grandchildren, Amanda, Ryan, Nicholas, Benjamin, Andrew, Jacob, Meghan, and Caiden; nine great-grandchildren (plus baby Maya on the way), Anthony, Owen, Austin, Emma, Stella, Teancum, Ayla, Lillian, and Paisley; also a sister, Simone Martel, of Auburn.
SERVICES – A Time of Visitation will take place on Thursday August, 20, 2026 from 4:00 until 7:00 pm at the Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm Street, Manchester, NH 03104. Funeral Friday morning with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 am at St. Anthony of Padua Parish, 172 Belmont St., Manchester, NH. Entombment to follow at Mt.
