Jacqueline, a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, peacefully took her final journey on September 11, 2026, surrounded by love at Hillsbrook Village Senior Living Community.
Born on April 27, 1937, in Manchester, NH, Jacqueline was the cherished daughter of Adelard and Marie Jutras founders of Jutras signs. She was a beacon of love and warmth, touching the lives of everyone she encountered with her gentle spirit.
A graduate of St. Anson's High School in 1955, Jacqueline furthered her education in bookkeeping at the New Hampshire School of Accounting and Commerce. She began her career at Merchants National Bank before dedicating her skills to the family business, Hill Haven Development, where she served as a bookkeeper. Her work was meticulous and reflected the dedication she showed in all aspects of her life.
Jacqueline's hobbies were an expression of her creative spirit and love for life. An avid cross-stitcher, her home was adorned with her projects, each a testament to her patience and artistry.
Summers in Meredith brought her joy, as she and her husband delighted in boating and waverunner rides. The beauty of the mountains called to them, and they spent countless hours exploring and enjoying the scenery. Jacqueline had a deep affection for house plants and animals, especially her beloved dog, Maggie.
Those who knew Jacqueline remember her as a sensitive, loving person with a quiet humor that brought smiles to her family and friends. Her kindness was as vast as her heart, and she left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Her family was her pride and joy, and her legacy lives on through her grandchildren: Patrick (Kayla) L'Heureux and their daughters EIsie and Vera; Kimberly (James Jr.) Popovitch and their jdaughters Chloe and Carly; Alyssa (Joshua) Bisson; and Matthew L'Heureux with his fiancée Kaitlin.
Jacqueline was predeceased by her devoted husband, Maurice L'Heureux Sr., whom she married in 1962 and shared a beautiful life with until his passing in 2020. Together, they raised four children, who were the centerpiece of Jacqueline's life. Her son, Maurice L'Heureux Jr., also predeceased her, leaving behind a legacy of love that Jacqueline continued to cherish through her surviving children: Jeannie L'Heureux, Marc and his wife Louise L'Heureux, and Marcel L'Heureux. Jacqueline also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, each holding a special place in her heart.
A private funeral ceremony will be held to celebrate Jacqueline's life, as her family comes together to honor her legacy and the love she bestowed upon them all. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit and the warmth of her love will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Hillsbrook Village Senior Community for the compassionate care they provided Jacqueline in her final days. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jacqueline's memory may be made to an SPCA of your choice, honoring her love for animals.
