Geraldine G. (Buchanan) Terry, 78, of Londonderry, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully October 3, 2026, after enjoying a beautiful fall day with her family.
Gerry was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, on December 8, 1947, to Eugene R. Buchanan and Antoinette G. Buchanan. She graduated from high school and attended business school before spending a long, successful career as an Executive Administrator. Gerry met her late husband Charles V. Terry, an enlisted Army specialist, while attending a community dance in her hometown. They fell in love and before he was sent off to Vietnam, she said “yes” to waiting for his return to be married. She indeed waited, and by the grace of God, he returned and they were married August 18, 1968. Together they had three children, Lisa Marie Terry Booker, Charles F. Terry, and Laurie L. Perkins (Terry) with which they enjoyed building strong family values and traditions for the past 55 years.
Gerry was incredibly hard-working in the various roles she had for top executives at companies like Converse, Energy North, Sykes and Fisher Scientific. She was a role model to her children, especially her daughters, in wearing brilliant suits and high heels to work every single day. She retired in 2010 as she shifted gears to help with the care of her grandchildren. In her spare time, Gerry loved camping, dancing, crafting, doing puzzles, and traveling, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with and cooking for her beloved family and grandchildren.
She leaves behind her three children, a son-in law, Matthew A. Perkins and a soon-to-be son and daughter in law, Joseph Troisi and Alicia Hill; six grandchildren (Nathan Booker, Connor Terry, Cameron Terry, Rosalie Terry, William Perkins, and Grace Perkins); and four siblings – Annmarie Boissoneau of Bedford, NH, Diane Blanchette of Salisbury, MA, Linda Frost of Tampa, FL, and Gaetano Pappalardo of North Andover, MA, along with their spouses, nieces and nephews.
Gerry was predeceased by her father (Eugene Buchanan), and mother and step-father (Antoinette and Frank Pappalardo).
