Florence A. Dewyngaert

Florence Anita Dewyngaert, 94, of Manchester, died August 7, 2026. 

Born in Manchester, NH on April 22, 1932, she was the daughter of Wilfred and Noella (Boiley) Levasseur. She earned her nursing degree from Nashua Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in 1953. 

Prior to her retirement, she worked for many years as a registered nurse for Dr. Alfred Bertagnol, MD. Florence enjoyed traveling extensively with her husband. Together they made many cross country trips. She was an accomplished artist in many mediums sharing her lovely art with her children.

 She was predeceased by her husband, Maurice H. Dewyngaert on August 7, 2013. 

Family members include her children, Richard M. Dewyngaert and wife Stacie of Salem, Denise D. Raymond and husband Donald of Manchester, Diane Penaskovic and husband John of Dover; 3 grandchildren, Glenn Raymond and his wife Brooke, Jazzmin and Tyler Penaskovic; 2 great-grandchildren, Noah and Aaron Raymond along with many nephews and nieces. 

There are no public calling hours. A memorial Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 22nd at 10 am in St. Elizabeth Seton Church, Meetinghouse Road, Bedford.

 Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Donations may be made in her memory to support the NH Alzheimer’s Association, 15 Constitution Drive, Suite 1G, Bedford, NH 03110.
