Deeann L. Pouliot

Deeann Lynn (Biron) Pouliot, 67, of Manchester, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, September 19th, surrounded by her loving family, following a courageous battle with breast cancer. Born on December 8, 1958, to Gilbert Biron and Helen (Lemire) Biron, Dee grew up in Manchester, New Hampshire. Dee shared 43 years of marriage with her husband, Joseph Pouliot. Together, they raised two remarkable children, Jordan and Jacob, and their beloved yellow lab, Ruby, building a life centered on family, faith, and love.

Dee graduated from Manchester Memorial High School and earned her bachelor's degree from Springfield College. She dedicated more than 40 years to a career at New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority, where she oversaw the assisted housing division, helping very low-income households access safe, stable and affordable housing.

Dee's greatest joy was being a mother to her children and "Grammy" to her precious grandchildren, Archer, Andie, William, and Clara, and a beloved aunt and great-aunt to her many nieces and nephews. Family was the center of Dee's world, and she had a remarkable way of making the people she loved feel special, supported, and valued.

She showed that love from the sidelines just as often as she did at home. She encouraged her children to try any sport, from soccer to snowboarding, and was the most supportive sports-mom, aunt, and Grammy imaginable. She passed her love of the local teams on to her grandchildren, none more than the Bruins - even bringing them to the Garden last fall to experience an overtime win. The encouragement, the cheering, and the joy were something Dee shared with everyone lucky enough to be beside her.

Dee was an unwaveringly dedicated sister and had a special bond with her parents. Some of her happiest memories were spent with her family at Gil and Helen's cottage in Maine. There you would find Dee laughing and singing with her brother and sisters on the porch, playing cribbage with her parents, or watching the kids swim and fish. She treasured the many summers spent together there.

Dee found peace and joy as an active member of Blessed Sacrament Parish, where she served for many years as a member of the Parish Council and Finance Committee. Her faith in Jesus was felt by all who knew her. "Fear not, for I am with you" -- Isaiah 41:10.

Dee is survived by her husband, Joseph Pouliot; her children, Jordan Latham and her husband Hunt of Rochester, MA, Jacob Pouliot and his wife Caitlin Bannon, of Manchester, NH; her cherished grandchildren, Archer, Andie, William, and Clara; her beloved dog, Ruby; her mother, Helen Biron of Sarasota, FL; her sister, Donna St. Pierre and her husband Peter of Manchester, NH; her two sisters, Debra Burgess of Sarasota, FL, Doreen Kienia and her husband Kevin of Sarasota, FL; her brother, Michael Biron of Manchester, NH; and many beloved nieces and nephews, friends, and colleagues.

Dee joins so many people in heaven and found peace knowing she would be welcomed with open arms by her father, Gilbert Biron. Her tour guide of Heaven will likely be her Godson, Theo Smalling, bringing laughter to her along the way. She will join her brother-in-law, Herb "Yogi" Burgess, Hy and Mary Lou Pouliot, and a multitude of aunts and uncles.

Those who knew Dee will remember her smile and infectious laughter, her generosity, her encouragement, and her unwavering faith. Her love for her family and for Ruby, the music she shared with her children, the sports she never missed, and the long summer days at the cottage remain a lasting part of the memories she leaves behind. "Be shepherds of God's flock that is under your care, watching over them-not because you must, but because you are willing" -- 1 Peter 5:2. A faithful shepherd to all who knew her, Dee lived her faith in the quiet, steady care she showed everyone around her. Dee's work on earth changed many lives and we know that she continues to guide all of us now from above.

Services: Calling hours will be held on Friday, September 25, 2026, at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm Street, Manchester, from 5pm - 8pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, September 28, 2026, at Blessed Sacrament Parish, 14 Elm Street, Manchester at 10am. Burial will be at a later date.
